This Refund and Returns Policy governs the return of goods and refunds for purchases made on the choose.lv marketplace (“Website”).
The Website acts as a platform connecting independent sellers with buyers. Each seller sells products independently.
2. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU law, buyers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- custom-made or personalized items
- goods that are not suitable for return by nature
- perishable goods
3. Conditions for Returns
Returned items must:
- be unused
- be in original condition
- be returned in original packaging where applicable
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the seller states otherwise.
4. Return Procedure
To initiate a return, the buyer must contact the seller via the Website or other provided contact method and notify them of the intention to return the item.
The seller will provide return instructions.
5. Refunds
After receiving and inspecting the returned item, the seller will issue a refund using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time, but no later than 14 days after receipt of the returned goods or proof of return shipment.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item is received damaged or not as described, the buyer is entitled to:
- a replacement
- a partial or full refund
Buyers are encouraged to contact the seller promptly and provide supporting evidence (photos, description).
7. Role of the Website
The Website provides a technical platform for transactions between buyers and sellers and is not directly responsible for refunds or returns unless required by law.
